About Us

The Harpoondodgers are a Richmond, Virginia based band focusing on classic, modern and alt-country rock, with a few originals thrown in.  Our sets range from all-acoustic, for smaller settings, to full-blown rock your socks off electric shows, so we can fit any music need or venue.  Influences include the Stones, Dylan, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Son Volt, Wilco, Neil Young, The Decemberists, Band of Horses and others.  If you're looking for a good time with some great tunes, belly up to the bar, sit back, and enjoy face melting, adrenaline pumping tunes.
